Streaming transport using BluOS?
BeantwortetHi,
Is there such a thing as a BluOS Streaming transport? I like my external DAC and I am looking for a streamer to connect to internet music services over WiFi and feed a hi-res signal into my DAC. Foolishly, I use Amazon Music HD as my preferred provider although this may change if I can't solve this!
I'm aware that I can just buy a Bluesound Node (any variant?) and bypass the DAC but that seems such a waste.
Any thoughts?

HI Jeremy - The NODE is in fact the product you are looking for.

Thanks Tony. That's what I keep coming back to, it's just a shame about the redundant DAC. Ah well.
Is there much difference between the Node 2, 2i and the new (2021) Node when used as transports?0 -
Better wi-fi chip, more options on the now proximity touch panel, a next model DAC chipset and USB output are what was added to the new NODE N130.

Cheers Tony, better WiFi may swing it but the other features are redundant for me. Many thanks for the swift responses, it's much appreciated

Don't forget the better/faster CPU which should provide faster operation.
If you want just BluOS, the Node is your cheapest option (Node 2i even cheaper). There is no other way for you to get the OS!
