Bluesound Node N130 does not accept audio input via HDMI from Blu Ray player Sony UBP-X800M2
I have tried to play audio CD´s or video blu ray discs with my Sony UBP-X800M2 Blu Ray player
and I have connect the HDMI output to my Bluesound Node N130 which is connect to my Hifi system.
The Bluesound Node N130 does not recognized any audio signal via the HDMI input from the Sony output.
The Sony has two HDMI outputs, the first with video and audio, the second audio only.
I tried both, but the Bluesound does not accept an input from any of this HDMI outs.
I tried than a simple HDMI audio extractor to catch the audio stream and connect than the
optical output from the extractor to the Bluesound.
Now accept the Bluesound the audio signal from my Sony.
But why not direct via HDMI?
Thanks in advance

Not sure why you are connecting your BD player to the Node?
Connect SPDIF directly to your HiFi system from your BD player.
HDMI input should be PCM. Setting DSD output to off, and Digital Audio Output to PCM could probably resolve your issue. -
It is a really old Hifi System without any digital input, but a good sound.
That way the trial to use here the Bluesound here.
And the HDMI output was PCM and DSD was disabled and this does not solve the issue.
Is there any log file, where I can find info, why the Bluesound fails?0 -
Is "Auto Sense" on for the HDMI. If not, try pressing the "play" button in the app/controller after switching source on your Node.
Could be cable issue if there is no sound. Have you tried connecting your TV to the Node with HDMI with the same cable? No log file, but if you select "Help, Send support request", you will eventually get one.
