Wired Node 2 Does Not Get IP Address

Hardware Problem OR Amenable to Remote Tech-Support Session:

Connected via WIRED Ethernet, my router definitely does NOT assign and IP address to this Node 2.  (A Node 2i on the same network DOES get an IP address and functions normally.)

There appear to be other problems with this Node 2, and a remote session had been scheduled for tomorrow, but don't want to install TeamView on my computer if this is hardware problem requiring factory service.  I can't get an answer from the email tech who scheduled the remote session, so I'm asking this apparently simple question here... -- JClarkW
