If you are not using the Windows application, it's not expected behaviour :-)
Make sure "BluOS Remote" is toggled "Off" (Settings - Player - IR Remote".

    Probably expected behaviour.

Thanks, but I cannot find that help article, merely references to it on the web. By bluOS controller, do you mean the windows application? I am not using that or even have it installed.

If the above shortcuts actually are keyboard shortcuts within the app, it would lead to chaos - Winkey+number keys for example are windows OS shortcuts for running applications on the taskbar.

Thanks Bjørn, that does stop the main problem, but i do use the IR remote to play/pause, skip tracks etc so it would be nice if I could still do this. Maybe I'll just have to use my phone on its own.

You can still do that... here's how; https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360039214453

Thanks Tony. My problems is that if I enable IR receiving on the node at all, it responds to commands that I have not taught it, when I am using other AV components. Even if I delete all learned commands, there are still multiple IR commands for windows media centre (that I use for watching movies) that start the node playing preset radio stations.

I've got around this problem now by changing all the IR commands that my windows media system uses, to different ones that don't seem to clash with the node. A bit annoying having to do this though.
