Trying to add Flex 2i pair as a stereo pair but the app won't see the players

Thank you for the response, Seppi.

Are you saying that I can either use the Flex's as a stereo pair or part of a home theatre group, but not both? I am sure the instructions (poor as they are) somewhere, say that they can be used in both ways, just not at the same time. So, 2 groups set up, one as home theatre group, one as stereo group.

We don't have 2 networks, I'm pretty sure, but just multiple SSIDs. I see no option for AP isolation on my network setup in the router, so I assume it is not enabled.

So am I going to have to delete home theatre group and add stereo group each time I want to use just the two Flex players as stereo speakers in another room? This is awfully clumsy, impracticlal and won't be used in that way, obviously. I also see that this was requested as a feature 3 years ago, supported by many votes and, it seems that as recently as 3 months ago, was not yet enabled. So I guess I have answered my own question. I can still return these players as I only just purchased them.

    Thanks again,

    Steveb

    Thanks, Seppi.

Unfortunately I have found that I am not able to return the Flex Players as I got them using air miles. So, with no response from Bluesound support, I guess I am stuck with the limited usage - either stereo group or home theatre group. I guess they want you to just buy more. But not everyone has those type of disposable funds.

We already have yesterday, thanks. But if they are in touch, that won't change the functionality, I suspect.

I don't expect to be contacted for a while, due to holidays.

    Regards,

    Steven
