General issues with Bluesound App
Hi all
Am I the only person, who - more often than not - experiences general issues with the BluOS app? The general issues I am referring to are (but are not limited to):
1) speakers that wont be found in the speaker list in the app,
2) speakers that wont be combined,
3) speakers that does not appear in the group after being added (even though they play music as the remaining speakers), and
4) the Sub+ loosing connection to the Soundbar.
Usually, one or two restarts of the app will fix it, but it is just infuriating to have to deal with, especially when trying to explain the wife how to use the system.
I have the Ubiquiti AmpliFi HD router, so I believe my network should be more than capable to handle the traffic (I have also tried with a different router supplied by my ISP at an earlier stage), so I have come to believe, that it is simply just the app being buggy.
Some times it works flawlessly, but more often than not, I have to restart the app again and again in order to deal with the issues.
My current setup consists of 1) Soundbar+, 2) Sub+, 3) Pulse 2i and 4) 1 Pulse Flex 2i, and I usually play music through my turntable (connected via AUX to the Soundbar), or spotify from my iPhone.
Are everyone else just having a smoothless exeperience using the app (thus not encountering the issues mentioned above) or is anyone else facing the same kind of issues?
EDIT: all players have strong signal strength, and the issues happens independently of time of day (in relation to other network traffic).

Hi Jens,
no you are not the only one to experience issues.
Point 3 was an issue indeed in previous release. I just restarted the app when changing groups which solved the problem. I decided to leave all speakers in the group and mute when not needed, hoping for the next update to deal with it. Not the nicest solution, but some sort of a workaround.
Point 2 has been an issue since the latest update. When I do group speakers, tracks skip to next track well before the end. There has been no way of listening to more than one device since, unless I switch to airplay and another player app. I contacted support and was told this issue was being dealt with in the coming release, which is expected to be available next couple of days.
I have not met the issue described at point 1 and I am not using Sub+
The latest upgrade seems to be a bit buggy, and it is shame that rollback to previous release has not been made available, for the time the team is fixing the problems. Such practice would probably cause other issues or more work than the actual solution to known issues.
The support Team is very kind and reactive. The problem is that it takes quite some time to go beyond the standard instructions, like switching off this and that, waiting for 5 minutes, switching on again, running up and down the stairs (keeps you fit though 😃), reindexing and so on.
Hope the announced release 3.16.2 will fix most of the issues.
