Tag edits not showing when viewing shared drive

I have used MP3Tag to start correcting some data after ripping CDs to my Vault 2i.  The particular example is changing The River (Disc1) and The River (Disc2) to a single album adding data in the Discnumber field.  I have re-indexed and viewing my Vault through the iPad app The River now shows as one album.  However, when I view the Vault through File Explorer it still shows 2 folders, The River (Disc1) and The River (Disc2).  Is this correct ?
