Vault 2 will stop playing after a few songs

I have a Vault 2 and have ripped a large number of CDs. When I play them, a number of songs will play fine, then I start to hear dropouts, until at some point the music stops altogether. Nothing I do (change albums, stop and try again) seems to help. I have to unplug the unit to get it to re-set, but the problem persists.
Using Pandora or other music services does not exhibit the same problem as ripped music.

I should add that I also have a Pulseflex 2 wireless speaker that does not have this issue at all, regardless of the music source.

^Now that's interesting. Definitely recreate the problem on the VAULT and send the support request as per Seppi's instruction.

I am using the digital coax out. My receiver has one optical, one coax input, and the TV sound is output via the optical input of the receiver.

Actually, my receiver has two optical inputs. I used the coax as I only had one optical cable. I had used my setup before and had no issues.

Other than for testing is there any reason to think one method should work better? I assume your test is to find out if the coax cable is defective?

My receiver does have analogue inputs, but I thought digital would be preferable for sound quality

Ok, so after swapping the digital coax cable for an optical one, I have gotten through an album and most of another. In the past I hadn't progressed beyond about 20 minutes of one album before the drop-outs began.
I am cautiously optimistic your suggestion worked! I do have to add my Pulseflex wifi speaker grouped in, as that had been an issue in the past (but may be related to the current solution). If that passes, I believe I have solved the dilemma.

If the audio dropouts return AFTER you grouped, your PULSE FLEX does not have enough wireless signal strength and is the root of your problem. Please check out www.bluesound.com/network101 for tips to improve wireless performance...

Just to mention, the Pulseflex does not drop out in this scenario - it is the Vault's output that still dropped.
That said, I was satisfied the optical cable swap was successful for the Vault alone. I am in process of testing the grouped speakers to see if my issue is resolved.
