Cracky sound on mini 2i left speaker.

I have a Bluesound soundbar Pulse 2i connected to my Sony television with a hdmi cable using the ARC port. 

I also have 2 Pulse mini 2i speakers and created a stereo pair with them. 

I also have a Pulse sub+. The sub is connected to the left pulse mini 2i speaker. 

 

The pulse mini 2i stereo pair is grouped with the soundbar. 

 

The sound of the left speaker is really terrible when using the HDMI ARC connection and when the 2 Pulse mini 2i speakers are paired in stereo mode. When I disable stereo mode the sound is fine but not in stereo of cause. 

The sound of the set is fine when playing music from the library or Spotify.
