Audio cutting off at the beginning of tracks with external DAC

NODE ICON - As previously reported, when clicking the previous/next track buttons on the controller, approximately the first 0.5 seconds of the audio gets cut off. However, if I pause playback first and then click either button, the track plays normally from the beginning. This issue still persists in the 4.16.22 update. Is this technically not fixable?

+ Additionally, the Auto Sense feature for the USB-C input does not work after the initial connection. It will not switch over unless you launch the app to manually switch to USB-C or tap a configured preset.

  Same with me. I also get a brief burst of sound between tracks many times. It should be possible to have continuous playback without this happening. I have other devices that are able to do this with no problem.
