N331 TV audio not coming through centre channel on dolby surround sources.
I just bought a N331 and generally super happy with the sound quality.
Movies recorded in dolby digital (or atmos which seems to get downmixed) sound really good.
Music is also top notch.
My issue is if watching TV which is output in stereo for dolby surround, all the tv audio comes out the left and right channels no audio from the centre channel.
I see in the manual it says the below, is this a fix for it and when is it expected?
LISTENING MODE (COMING SOON via SOFTWARE UPDATE) Adjust settings within these listening modes to create separate listening profiles for
Music, Movies and Late night – you can select a Listening Mode to enjoy different listening experiences quickly.

If you want to hear stereo sources as surround, you'll need to enable the "Stereo surround" option in BluOS app settings. Did you enable that?

Yeah I have discovered this since adding the post.
I have noticed though enabling this seems to have adverse effects on usb c sources and ATV, if I play a track from phone or mac I get really choppy audio via usb c. I also get choppy audio from apple tv when it is enabled if I dont set the main audio from auto to dd 5.1 on atv.
I will let support know this choppy audio issue, I can live with this more than the lack of centre channel for dolby surround sources in the short term.

Personally I keep this 'Stereo surround' setting off. It makes no sense to me to simulate a surround sound out of a perfectly fine stereo track. It does not sound good at all to me, especially for music which is mixed stereo. I.m.o. let stereo be stereo, and surround be surround, as intended.

For music I agree, happy to let it just come through left and right.
But for some tv viewing that might be sent out as dolby surround not DD5.1 the centre speaker seems to get bypassed without it enabled.

'Dolby Surround' is the name of an upmixing processing feature of an AV Receiver. Like the 'Stereo surround' option on the N331. It's not a specific audiostream with a channel layout, like DD5.1
Maybe I'm not understanding correctly what you're saying.

You should probably use an Hdmi cable for dolby sound.
