new pc (Win11 Pro, 25H2), unable to map network drive to vault2i
BeantwortetBluesound's windows and android apps are able to see my vault2i.
I'm trying to map a network drive to my vault2i with a new PC. I have followed the instructions here: https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/28999475975319-Cannot-access-network-share-of-Vault-2
With gpedit, I have enabled Insecure Guest Logins
With regedit, I have set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanWorkstation\Parameters AllowInsecureGuestAuth to 1.
I click Map Network Drive, give it a letter (v), for folder I choose \\vault2i\shared
Checked is Reconnect at sign-in and Connect using different credentials
and click Finish
It asks for network credentials, so I put in username Guest, and a blank password, and ok.
It pops up a new window with the same request for a username and password, this time I try a blank username and password.
I get an error window that says: The mapped network drive could not be created because the following error has occurred: An extended error has occurred.
My PC is using ethernet, private network. Under advanced network settings, Network discovery is on, file and printer sharing is on. Under All Networks, password protected sharing is off.
In File Explorer, if I tell it to go to the IP address assigned to the vault2i, it brings up the VAULT 2i Control Panel screen.

As you can gather MS has been locking down Windows more and more with every update. You can try using the VAULT’s IP address instead of its name but you will probably have to contact Bluesound support.
In the BluOS app, please navigate to Settings and under Help & Support select “Send Support Request” this sends to logs to support who will then get in touch with you.

Thank you, Seppi! Microsoft is getting too eager to lock away functionality. I'll contact support as you've suggested!
