BluOS controller insists on notifications

Since last week my BluOS application tells me it wants to send notifications and nags me for enabling it. This nag pops up every time I switch to the app, even if it has been running for a while.

I do not wish to have notifications, I just want to listen to music. What do I need to do to stop the nagging without enabling notifications?
