Can I connect a bluetooth turntable to 1st gen Pulse?
BeantwortetHi All,
I have a Sony PS-LX310BT bluetooth turnable and a 1st gen Pulse with a bluetooth usb adapter. Bluetooth works fine to connect an iphone to the Pulse to stream Apple Music.
Is it possible to connect the turntable to the Pulse? I can pair other speakers as I can put them into pairing mode but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that on the Pulse? I'm assuming the only way I can connect the two is with an ADC but thought I'd ask the question in case I'm missing something obvious.
Thanks,
George

Hi George
Gen1 Players using a USB BT Adapter can only be paired to one device at a time. You must disconnect the iPhone to connect the turntable.
Please see www.bluesound.com/bluetooth for details.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for the reply. I have tried that but I can only put the turntable into pairing mode via a button, there is no interface for me to select the Pulse. Should this matter? If the Pulse is disconnected from the iPhone is it constantly looking to pair?

Hi George
Check your turntable documentation and confirm it is also not currently paired to anything. There needs to be something in the device you are trying to connect to the PULSE to say that is the speaker I need to connect to. You will have to see how that is possible in SONY's documentation.

Hello, I'm planning to buy the same turntable to use with my pulse flex 2i. I'm wondering if you could manage to pair them? As far as I know turntable can be paired with a source which is on pairing mode but pulse flex 2i doesn't have a pairing mode (or does it?)

I have a similar query here. Could I connect a Bluetooth turntable like the Sony to my Node?
