Hi.  I saw the following review comments related to the Pulse 2i Mini (not sure how old it was):

“BlueSound do not support DNLA, meaning that Android users are only able to stream music files stored locally on their devices via APTX HD bluetooth and not on Wi-Fi.”

Is this a correct statement?  Can I control all my local music sources (e.g. NAS, Windows share, USB stick plauuged into the speaker) using the BluOS app on an android device?  

Can I use full multi-room functionality for all of the above?

Can I play the output through wireless bluetooth headphones for all of the above?

Given that Bluesounds does not support DNLA, what differences can I expect controlling products using the BluOS app on Android vs. other platforms?

  Hi Steve, "statement" from the "review" is correct.
  
  All your questions is also "yes".

  
  There is no difference in controlling Bluesound products in Android vs other platforms.

  You can of course files stored on a PC (Windows or Mac) or a local NAS as a file share creating a local library; https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000469948

  ..not to mention over 20 of the most popular hi-res music services available...

  Thanks for your prompt responses guys.  I read the review comment as stating that I would not be able to access music files over my WiFi (i.e. files stored on a NAS or shared folder on my PC). Thanks for putting my mind at rest.

  There are various conversations related to DNLA - are you able to summarise what I am not able to do with Bluesound due to your not supporting DNLA?

  It's what you CAN do because we abandoned DLNA for a better way. 

  Creating a local library with a simple one-time file sharing setup, a share allows you to build a visual Local Library by scanning by Album View, Artist View, Song View, or Composer View. Sort those views alphabetically or chronologically, filter those views on sound quality.

  You can also then play the content on multiple players in your home in perfect syncronisation. You can also have those players play different content simultaneously from that same library.
  
  Less jitter, better sync, and no external software for a better experience.
