    Hello Josh,

As you've said, TIDAL Connect is done entirely from the TIDAL app's side and I do not believe there is much we here at Bluesound can do to alleviate this.

That being said, I will forward this feedback to our Quality Assurance. In the meantime, submitting a request through to TIDAL here -- https://support.tidal.com/hc/en-us/requests/new -- would be the best way to let them know of the issue.

    Regards,
    Sam R.

I asked TIDAL about autoplay within the BluOS's app (not TIDAL connect) and they said is on Bluesounds' side.

    HI Carlo

It does work fine within the BluOS App - the OP is speaking of using TIDAL Connect's feature using their App. If you are having issues, please ensure in your BluOS App, Settings Playback, Autofill is enabled.

Thank you, Tony. Yes, BluOS' Autofill works as expected with TIDAL, but it is not the same as TIDALS' Autoplay. Autofill just queues the rest of the songs, from the selected one to the end of the album; when the last queue song ends, the music stops. Autoplay is a kind of random selection of songs using the last one played as a guide for picking other songs; it goes on and on. It is akin to Roon's Radio (which I also use).

Btw. Spotify offers this too, but with Spotify Connect it seems not to work too.

Never tested if it would with a Spotify Connect receiver from a other system. I am afraid this is a limitation from TIDAL and Spotify when using „XXX Connect“ playback.

I was in contact with Tidal about this and they said:

Please allow me to explain, the track Radio function while using TIDAL connect hasn't been implemented yet, so it won't work at the moment.

I guess it would be good if Bluesound would address this issue directly with Tidal also as it is a key feature in Tidal (and thus Bluesound)?

Any new developments on this? I'm unable to get Autoplay to work when I'm using Tidal Connect to my Node 2i, NODE130, and BluOS receiver.

I cannot get BluOS to "autoplay" anything but the playlist I put in...  It does not "generate" other tracks to the playlist at the end... it just stops.   This is with Tidal connect from laptop or using the BLUOS tidal playlist.   Either way it does not work. ... also does not work with Qobuz laptop program (qobuz airplay works from my ipad).   I've tried 5 different music services (Qobuz, Amazon, Tidal, Spotify, Deezer)  trying to get this feature to work (I hate static playlists) and so far NO success with BluOS and little success otherwise (spotify connect seems to work from my laptop program... but the BLUOS implementation is non existent).

So not a good solution for Hi def/HiFi music with BluOS so far.  Love to find out otherwise... .I'll check android.... but I use it mostly with a laptop.

    HI John

Autofill does not work when using an endpoint solution such as Tidal-Connect, Spotify or AirPlay as your BluOS Player is simply a speaker to that App.

Using direct TIDAL integration in the BluOS App and other services such as Qobuz, Amazon Music or your Local Library will include Autofill (if enabled in the Settings Menu under Playback, which it is by default) as BluOS is curating the music.

    Hi Tony,

Thanks for responding.   I've spent the last 2 weeks experiementing with BluOS trying to get Autofill to work..    NONE do so.  Reinstalled apps, and BluOS apps, etc.  It is important to note, my main control app for BluOS is Windows, followed by Android.   Using just BluOS or the 2 "connect" apps... NONE works. (They are all Zero percent except Spotify connect which is about 20%?!! on windows)   When using the IPAD app to control BluOS...  autofill works with ALL services on BluOs and connect apps ! ...but this is not how my house operates.

I make a simple 3 song playlist in each streaming service's app, ensure autofill is selected in BluOS and using windows or android BluOS and \ or the two "Connect" apps (7 different methods to get autofill to work x2), the music STOPS after 3 songs.

Tony, you stated  "Using direct TIDAL integration in the BluOS App and other services such as Qobuz, Amazon Music or your Local Library will include Autofill (if enabled in the Settings Menu under Playback, which it is by default) "  .   this directly addresses my concern but is incorrect in all my experiments.   It is the complete opposite of this, please try it and let me know.(Windows or Android BluOS with Tidal connect or BluOS> Amazon or Qobuz).  I'm at my witts end.  Nothing works.

Trying an IPAD (and likely a Mac computer?), all works perfectly, but my house is android and Windows.  If BluOS only works properly with Apple, they should state this in their prodcut descriptions.  It's not just one service or two... it's all of them that fail... while working fine on the IPAD side.

Clearly that it works in IPAD apps shows that it's meant to work in all....and is touted as such but it does not.  I see BluOS is updating on Oct 17... but have not seen anything that says they've addressed the broken implementation in windows and android.  Any hope for a fix (amongst many windows/android issues)?  The other BluOS issues are irritating but this one is a show stopper for Windows or Android users who want a robust streaming solution.

    Thanks
