Is the digital signal output on the coaxial connector processed at all before output?

  If you have MQA External DAC set to OFF, then the first MQA unfold is done before the coax signal is sent. Turning this setting ON (you would also be required to turn ON Fixed Output) would send the bits untouched to your external DAC.
