VAULT 2 STUCK IN UPGRADE

I agreed to download an upgrade recently, the Vault2 went red then flashing red/green and the  app no longer talks to the Vault2, yet the Vault device still makes working noise as if CD mechanics was trying to read CD. there is no CD in Vault. 

I have tried unplugging for 30 seconds several times, restarting the router, I have tried to do a factory restart but the LED/mute button on the top of the unit doesn't respond at all / no light of any colour is flashing. 

What to do in this case?

  I am having similar situation. I upgraded the OS and now I cannot play anything through my system. I have unplugged many times and rebooted the system multiple times and nothing seems to work.
