Node 2i connection to an amp

Hello

Before buying this streamer I have a question: would I be able to connect it direct to my Musical Fidelity A309 power amp. Now, this amp has no preamp so, my question was: can I just plug into the amp the output from the Node 2i? The amp probably deserves a more expensive streamer/preamp, but I am sure Node is good enough for me. Any suggestions appreciated.

  Hello Minica, 

  You should be good to just run the RCA cables from a NODE to one of your power amp's Analog Inputs and play from there.

  You don't require a pre-amp for this setup to work, so you can start out with just the NODE and your amp and look into including pre-amps etc. in the future.
