node 2i hard connection from iphone

My wifi is weak right now so I want to hardwire digital into my node 2i from iphone (I have some wav files stored on).

I bought an apple lightning to USB camera adapter to plug into iphone (per multiple google searches how to get digital out of iphone) but now how do I get that into my node 2i?

  Hello Mitch, 

  Unfortunately you wouldn't be able to stream from the iPhone to your Node in this way (in part because Apple has security regulations that prohibit scanning files within the iOS device, and to play via the USB port on the Node, the Node would need to be able to scan and index the files -- it cannot accept direct streams over USB).

  If you have a small number of wav files, you can put these on a USB drive/thumb drive and plug that into the back of the Node to stream from.
