Powernode 2i-HDMI connection problem
BeantwortetAny ideas please......I have recently purchased a Powernode 2i-HDMI and have connected it to my Philips 32PFL5008t TV, which I acknowledge is 6 or 7 years old. I set the Philips Easylink up accordingly, enable HDMI-ARC, etc, etc. I then find sound gets to the Powernode ok, remote-control volume works and all seems fine. However, if I turn the TV off and use a different source, Library, Optical, etc, then when I next want the TV on, the HDMI sound won't reconnect. On the Android app, the HDMI source page sits there with the circle spinning around the play triangle and no amount of selecting back and forth between sources will get the HDMI sound to work. HOWEVER.....if I unplug the HDMI connector from the back of the Powernode and then immediately reconnect it, hey presto, the HDMI sound works! Is there any explanation for this.....other than that it's a generational HDMI incompatibility between the Philips TV and the Powernode?
Many thanks for any clues!

Hello Dave,
Hard to say -- in the Easylink setup (or general HDMI settings on this TV), do you have the Audio Out set to Auto? I would recommend ensuring it is set to PCM-Stereo to make sure that's the only audio mode that's passed on to the POWERNODE regardless of events.
If after changing you find the issue still occurs, please send our team a diagnostics log via Help > Send Support Request (log will be automatically attached) so they may look into this further.

Sam R.
