    Hello Adam,

Chromebooks are a little tricky, but ideally it should work the same as the Android app.

Number of apps running doesn't matter to the NODE/BluOS, so I would recommend giving the router a reboot, followed by the NODE and your Chromebook to see if that resolves the issue.

    Hi Adam,

did you get it to work? I'm on my second Acer Chromebook and they both have been fine BluOS controllers.

Well, I booted up the app tonight and it found the player... who knew. I must have done something today that satisfied the wifi gods.

Well this is an adventure... if I come back to the Bluesound after a while, say after work, and click the bluOS app, it just spins the blue circle for ages and can't find the player. Yet if I load up Spotify (from the app), the Node 2i player is there and it plays straightaway. So what is the BluOS doing dragging its feet? Very odd. After a while - maybe a few minutes - the app will finally find the player, but the odd thing to me is that the player itself works even if the controller of the player (bluOS) doesn't! It's not an issue if I only want to play Spotify but to play my HDD flac files I need to cue them from the BluOS app. Is the bluOS app just a bit slow...?

The android app on a Chromebook is as buggy as it can be. Please be so kind to answer the question :will you put Chromebook support on the roadmap? Is this so difficult to develop? Says a technical principal technology test-engineer.

Just an update. All my BluOs issues were simple wifi issues. I now plug the Node 2i directly into a port on a mesh disc (TPLink Deco) and the signal is 100% with no dropouts. All good. I also bought a cheap Android tablet and run BluOs on that, so I don't need my phone with me when I'm listening. All good again.
