System volume changes when using Spotify app

I am switching from Tidal to Spotify, because of the lack of improvements at Tidal.

Another reason is the better Spotify integration that enables me to control Bluesound from within the Spotify app. For me that is a better experience. There is a little thing I don't really understand and is quite annoying. 

It looks like changing the volume of my Bluesound Node also changes the volume system settings of my Iphone. I usually have a very low volume set for my iphone, but when i use the spotify app to play some music on the Node, it looks like the system volume of my iPhone is adjusted to the setting of the Node (i have it always on maximum volume).

Is there a setting that prevents this from happening? Is there something I do wrong?

  Hello Robert,
