DI.FM premium via Tunein
BeantwortetI understand from other posts that Bluesound does not directly support the premium DI.FM streaming service. However I'm not totally clear as to whether this can be accessed via Tunein or not. I have tried following the procedures on the DI.FM website for adding custom URLs to Tunein but these refer to the Tune in app and while one can add the URL to the app without a problem, the app does not exist on the Blue sound player in the same form so one cannot connect the two. I have also tried adding the custom URL to Tune in using different apps for Blue sound but without success. All of this would suggest that it is not currently possible to use the premium service by means of Tune in. If others can offer clarification on this point, I would be very grateful.
Others have requested direct support for DI.FM in the past, but, so far as I can see, nothing has happened. Does anybody know if the situation is likely to change?

Hello Daniel,
You can add Custom Stations to your TuneIN/BluOS player using the steps outlined in the following article: https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000230507-Save-an-Internet-Stream-as-a-Custom-Station-in-TuneIn
Please note (not sure if the procedures you've followed required this) that when creating this custom favorite in you will need to use a direct URL to the radio's stream and not just to the web page of the station.
For example, the direct URL for AI radio would be (including the ampersand): http://listen.ai-radio.org:8000/128.ogg?cc=CA&now=1542050261.996&Using this URL will allow BluOS to know exactly where to pull the radio broadcast from and allow you to create this station as a custom favorite.

Thanks for that. I did try doing that but it will not work perhaps because it is a premium service and one is supposed to go through the Tunein app. Anyway I cannot think of any other method and di.fm cannot either so I will have to give up on this one I guess.

I imagine you're correct. Only other potential thing I could suggest is signing into your TuneIN account via the BluOS App (Music Services > TuneIN) and see if your TuneIN app adjustments with this station are carried over.
