Node N100 with khadas tone board

Hi

Is there a way to connect the node n100 to an external dac like khadas tone board that only has a spdif

input?

Can the optical out from the node n100 be used for this purpose?

  Hello Gopal, 

  There wouldn't be a simple way to do this, as Coax uses wire to transmit electrical data, whereas Optical transmits data using light.

  To convert the Optical output of the Node to Coax SPDIF, you would need a third-party SPDIF to Optical adapter, although I have not done any testing and cannot make recommendation on this.
