Ghost playlists
BeantwortetHi all,
I recently bought a second Node 2i (used) but unfortunately when I set it up it has retained playlists from the previous owner. They show as “Library” playlists but of course don’t exist in my library and the system does not give me an option to delete them.
They obviously show up on both my devices now and I have factory reset both of them but to no avail.
Any ideas how I can get rid of them please.
Many thanks in advance.....

Hi Martin
Yikes - that is unfortunate that the player was not factory reset first - I'd check the TIDAL account too as you may be using their credentials.
In Settings, Music Library, remove all the shares (it should not matter what player you do this on). Error on the side of caution here and select, Help Diagnostics, Rebuild Index once removed. Your entire Music Library should disappear from the BluOS App.
Now, go back to the Music Library Setting and recreate your share and check the Library once the Index completes.
If problems persist, please select Help Send Support Request in the App.

Hi thanks for the response. There is no Tidal account being used so that is fine, the playlists are Library playlists, not app related.
I have already carried out what you asked and it does temporarily remove the playlists but they reappear after a short while.
I also sent a support request as suggested over a week ago but have had no response.
Just to add I am trying another reindex......
regards
Martin
Edit - I have done this again and so far all looks good so have to say I perhaps did not do things in the correct order previously....
