Node 2i BluOS 3.10 Problems
BeantwortetSince the update of the 3.10 version my Node is constantly interrupting the music. I stream music from Tidal and directly from a USB device. In both cases the situation is the same. I restart several times the Node, also rebuilt index and lastly I made a factory reset. Nothing help. Before the update everything was working perfect. Anyone knows how I can downgrade the BluOS version on my Node 2i? Its really annoying the constantly interruption of the music.

HI Giovanni
Power down your Bluesound Player. Disconnect any wireless extenders. Reboot your router. Wait 5 minutes. Restart your wireless extenders. Wait 5 minutes. Power up your Bluesound Player.
If problems persists, please contact support.

Or alternatively buy a Sony SRS-XB range use your phone or computer to connect through bluetooth and never bother with your Bluesound kit ever again. I've spent over £2,000 on this stuff and it never seems to work. I use my Sony all the time now. I'm fed up with Bluesound not updating their app so that's it's usable. I wish I'd never bought it now.

Tony thanks for your time and message, I tried the solution you indicated but the problem persists. The first song I played was interrupted 5 times. The second 3 times. The first was from a USB device and the second was streaming. It really is unacceptable. I don't know what was the purpose of the update but it really damaged my system. I want to downgrade to the previous version, please send me the instructions. Right now my Node 2i is useless. Who can enjoy music that is constantly interrupted?

I am having the exact same issue. The product is currently of no use to me whatsoever at the moment. Totally unusable.

Same issue. Ever since the update I have been having intermittent audio dropouts across the board! Completely unusable at this point.

Disaster of an update. I have tried factory reset a number of times. Tried wired, wireless, same issue. I have a gigabit connection at home so speed is not a problem. Still getting constant cut outs. FLAC files streamed from Tidal are tiny compared to my bandwidth.

Yes, nothing to do with internet or Wi-Fi connection. I have been passing TV audio via toslink into the Node 2i and this is where I first noticed the intermittent dropouts. Then I tried to stream some tracks and noticed it there too.

Tony I already did it twice. I don't know if you've seen the other posts but it doesn't seem to be an isolated case.

Disconnect the AC Power cord from your playerInsert the USB device into the back panel of the player.
For Players with a Touch Cap:
Reconnect the AC Power cord, when the Play/Pause Button turns Red, press and hold on it.
Continue to press the Play/Pause Button until the LED moves from Green, back to Red.

I'm having the same issue. Thanks for the link to downgrade the firmware. I'll report back here when I've tried it myself.
EDIT: Right, so I find the same thing as others. No dropouts using the analogue output but I get momentary dropouts using coax. Seems that the last f/w update did indeed cause the problem.
