Two Node 2s - WIFI battle
BeantwortetHi
I just replaced my router/modem (cable) to a new one (AVM Fritz!Box 6660). My two Node 2s were connected via WIFI to my previous router/modem. I had some issues here and there with them but most of the time they worked well. Now with the new router/modem I'm facing an issue where only one Node 2 at a time can be "connected". E.g. if listen music through Node A upstairs and then want to go downstairs and listen to music there I need to reboot (not factory reset) the Node B and then it's found both in BluOs and in Roon but then Node A disappears from both applications. And this works vice versa of course. Now my workaround for this issue is to use ethernet connection for Node B and both stays online. This solution is actually fine for my setup but I still wonder why is my Node 2s having this battle for the WIFI. Should I change some settings in my modem/router?

Hello Tuomo,
In the past I have seen the Fritzbox with one obscure setting that I found helped (though I am unsure if this setting is still the same):
Setting DHCP reservations for your Node may also help.

Thanks for your answer. This setting still exists and it is currently enabled.
In regards to DHCP reservations, I cannot find any settings referring to DHCP but I wonder if this IPv4 setting is the same thing:
