Unstable playback: Grouping units playing music from external source

I have a problem with stability during playback in a set-up. It is related only to the external source input. In my Node2i I have connected a CD-player to the aux input and everything works fine as long as I play only in this room/zone. But when I group that Node2i with a Powernode2i in a different room in order to play music from the CD-player in both rooms - I get stability issues and drop-out in sound.
Both Bluesound units are cabled to the network - no wifi used.
Playing music from streaming services, TuneIn and the like causes no problems at all when zones are grouped. Only when playing music from external source (CD-player in this case).
I know this issue also from Sonos and they have an option of compression in their settings which take care of this problem. I can't find a similar setting in BluOS - is there a trick of some sort which could help me solve the problem?

Hello Christian,
Interesting that this occurs over Ethernet, though it seems internet sources like TuneIN are fine, so if you open the BluOS app and navigate to Settings > Player > Customise Sources, and select your source (Analog Input in your case) there should be an option called AV Mode. I have received reports in the past that toggling this helps with playback and grouping.

Same issue here.
Using optical or coax input from PC or analog or optical from Chromecast Audio to PowerNode 2i grouped with Node2i and/or Soundbar.
No issues playing from library or "Music Services". Tested with A/V mode on/off.0 -
New user here (just the system in a couple days ago...). It looks like I am having this exact issue.
I have no issues with sound propagating through the group when playing directly (i.e. from a "music service").
However when I use either Bluetooth or analogue line, the sounds crackles and drops out from the "children" in the group (but plays fine on the "master" I am connecting to).
I only have one unit wired into an Ethernet port but I checked the "diagnostic" and the WiFi connections on the other units are either "good" or "excellent".
Wondering if I am missing something as this is a 3 year old thread...0 -

Bluetooth grouping is in real-time and may have audio discarded if not in time - as suggested in the official comment, please disable A/V Mode to add a buffer.

Can you clarify what you mean? I don't see an A/V mode option under bluetooth...
I did notice something odd when looking at the wireless network environment: the Pulse M seems to be making multiple connections to my router (under different MAC addresses), is that normal?0
