Airplay access to Node 2i from Windows
I feel that I am stress testing BluOS software in a ways that should not be necessary.
In order to test the Airplay capabilities I have tried streaming music from iTunes to my Node 2i. This seems to work perfectly well from an iMac but it does not work from iTunes on Windows. ITunes/Airplay recognises the Node 2i but no sound is produced when I play songs using the Node 2i as the Airplay receiver. However, everything is ok when I play the same material to one of my Sonos speakers.
I had the same outcome when streaming music through Tuneblade which is an app that captures anything sent to the Windows sound output and redirects to Airplay receives. The Node 2i is recognised and connects but no sound is produced.
It seems that there is some undocumented feature of the BluOS setup that doesn't work with Airplay streams from Windows but does work with Airplay streams from MacOS. Surely the Airplay streams are identical so why is the behaviour not identical?

Glad to hear you figured it out

Sorry. I withdraw this. There was a problem with the way in which iTunes was set up on Windows. Now that is sorted out, everything seems to work properly now.
A bit clumsy but this is a way around the problems with the Windows BluOS Controller app.
