Please make Bluesound apps refresh config and playback without relaunching
BeantwortetI access Bluesound from iOS, Bluesound remote, and Mac OS all day long. I frequently have to close and relaunch the Bluesound apps to get things to work correctly (attempting to play a new track is ignored until app is relaunched, speaker grouping is not accurate). This leads me to believe that the apps are not refreshing correctly.
This is inefficient and bad UX. I can't be the only one with this issue?

Hello Jason,
To my knowledge, the BluOS app does continual updates on Playback and Sync Status periodically (a few times a minute).
Please uninstall the app and reinstall it to see if that resolves the issue.

This is still an issue.
I have latest software. This is particularly an issue on the Mac OS Desktop app. It almost never works when I wake my laptop from sleep and the BluOS app is already open. I have to quit and relaunch the app.

This is an issue with macOS as documented in Macintosh forums that some services do not wake up from stand by promptly and will take up to 2-3 minutes to resolve. This is not unique to Bluesound but most noticeable as we offer real-time response because you can hear the music and see the screen at the same time.
You can try adjusting some of your energy-saving preferences in System Preferences or contact Apple.
