Basic Playback Features
BeantwortetThere are some basic playback features that I do not see but think would be real enhancements. For reference, I am using a recent iPad as a controller and NAD M32 amplifier with the add-in board.
1) Play to the end of the current track, and stop. Today I have a choice of ending a piece in the middle, or hovering over the iPad to stop it at the right moment.
2) Show me how long it will take to play to the end of the queue. A simple count-down to the end of the queue. It seems to obvious to me, and so simple.
3) Easier to edit the queue. It is FAR too easy to touch things wrong and suddenly be playing whatever my finger got too close to. Removing an item from the yet-to-be-played part of the queue is likely to include a slip up, jumping to a different item. Moving items to different points in the queue should be easy.
4) Allow adding pauses in the queue. Break points if either a duration the user chooses, or that wait for the user to tell it to continue.
Please consider such enhancements for future releases. Thanks!

Missed some.
5) Support removing multiple items from the queue at once, rather than one at a time. Pick a group of adjacent items. Select multiple items individually. THEN allow removing the entire set of items that have been selected. Dealing with them one at a time, besides being inconvenient, increases the chance of making a mistake and having the playback jump to where you slipped up.

Hello Roy,
All well explained feature requests. I will be forwarding this to our Quality Assurance and BluOS Dev Team for further review.
Thank you for the feedback!
