Airplay2 even when Soundbar 2i in different room?

Hi there.  I am the happy owner of a pair of Pulse 2 speakers (not 2i).

I am considering buying the PulseBar 2i in order to, among other things, introduce Airplay2 capabilities to my pair of Pulse2s

Scenario:

• Family room has TV and new Soundbar2i for watching movies
• Kitchen has pair of Pulse2s and a small television with AppleTV

Desired outcome:

• Watch a video on my kitchen TV, play audio through Pulse2s using Airplay2 BUT, do not play the sound through the Soundbar 2i (in the Family room)

Is this possible? Or am I stretching things too far?  I realise there is something about selecting the Soundbar 2i as the main player - but since I don't have this setup yet, I can't imagine if it would work or not.

  Hi Bart

  Due to Apple's requirements for hardware authentication requirements for AirPlay2 security, your 2i Player MUST be part of the group when using AirPlay.
