Moisture resistance for Pulse and Pulse 2i
BeantwortetI'll be moving soon to Florida with my Bluesound gear and I'd like to use my Pulse P300 or Pulse 2i on the covered and screened patio. The units would not be exposed to rain but the humidity will be very high at times. Are these Bluesound products rated to function in high humidity for long periods of time?
And an unrelated question- has anyone used a Bluetooth adapter in the P300 other than the one that's officially supported?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Hi Todd
Though Bluesound Players have an M1 moisture rating, they are not designed with the great outdoors in mind. I would do this right and look at installing a POWERNODE in a sheltered case and wire it to a pair of outdoor speakers. I hear PSB Speakers makes a great product in the CS1000. Your Bluesound Authorised reseller will be happy to make a recommendation at www.bluesound.com/stores
Good luck with the move...

Hi Tony,
Thanks for your prompt response. I had considered using an amp and speakers but t'd rather not spend that kind of money on an outdoor setup. I'll probably just take the P300 outside with me as needed, or I might just take my chances on leaving it outside.
Would you happen to know of any customers who are using random Bluetooth adapters with the P300?
Todd

We recommend the ioGear GBU 521 but understand that it has been a few years. Check out www.blueosund.com/bluetooth for details in the notes about Gen1 BT Adapters.
