adding favorites not being saved
BeantwortetSo suddenly I can't save favorites anymore in the bluos app, I press the favorite button and it says it has been added but when I check afterwards it has not been saved. I also checked Tidals own app and it's not there. The only way I can save something now is through Tidals own app. Any way to fix this ? Also if anyone else have this same problem now let me know.

Hello Tom,
In testing this here on the latest version of the Android and Desktop app, I was able to successfully favourite in the BluOS app and have the changes reflected in both BluOS and Tidal respectively without issue.
Please open the BluOS app and navigate to Music Services > Tidal and logout, then log back in to see if that resolves the issue.
If not, please send our support crew a diagnostic log via Help > Send Support Request via the BluOS app so a member of our support crew may investigate further.

Im gonna test that, another problem I started to have is when I have searched something and then have several song hits, then when I click to play one it starts playing, but then if I click another one on the list it doesnt load the song. Only way I can make it load and play is if I click the 3 dots next to the play button and then click play now, then it starts playing. But it should also play when pressing the play button next to the song but it doesnt. I think this started after I installed the latest bluos app on my desktop. Also in the desktop version of bluos when I click the cover pic that takes you to where you see the timeline bar for the song, the 3 dots are missing there so no way to click and go to the album, in the mobile app the 3 dots are there. Hope this can be fixed also. I also tried adding somethign to favorites in the mobile app but same problem here, they are not being saved. Im gonna try the steps you suggested.

I send them a mail, waiting for reply. Btw. I asked a friend to test it for me on his computer, he have Tidal also and bluos, he tested but like me it wasnt saved. So it seems to be a general problem or at least one that others have also.
When you tested did you check that the album was actually showing up on your favorite list in Tidal.

Sam R. Do you know if there is a long response time on email? I wrote to them 6 days ago, but because of the corona I think there was a message saying many were working from home, so maybe it just takes longer time? I will wait a little longer.
If anyone else here can test and see if they can save favorites from Tidal in bluos, try to save an album and then go look at you favorites or recent favorites list and see if it's there, I really think this is a general problem as a friend of mine have the same problem.

Hello Tom,
You're on the money with that -- response time has been stalled as due to the pandemic situation. I apologise for this.
Since then I've tested this again a few times: when favourited in the BluOS app, the albums/artists successfully show up under both Favourties and Recent Favourites, in both the Tidal app and the BluOS app.
I also tested this on both a HiFi/MQA account and a non-HiFi account, no issues across either.
That you and your friend are seeing it is why I want the support crew to investigate this more closely.
In the meantime you could also uninstall and reinstall the app, or alternatively see if you are possibly able to test with a different account altogether.

Sam R. Thx for your replay, I have some news, I just tested to see if I could save favorites through bluos on my phone, and it worked. Im pretty sure I tested this before where it didnt work. I then tested again with bluos on my desktop but still not working. Im gonna try uninstall / reinstall bluos on my desktop like you suggested, might be some bug when I updated the app. Thought my friend have the same problem so not sure, will test and let you know the result.
EDIT: When I go to the list to uninstall bluos I see 2 different release versions of the app on the list, this might be whats causing the conflict. Not sure how this happened, I thought it installed on top of the old version when updating the app.0 -
Sam R. Okay I tested again with a clean install but still same problem, but it works through bluos on my phone now so thats good, now I just need to get it to work with the desktop app also.

Sam R. Hi I found a way to add favorites now in the desktop app, instead of clicking the favorite button I click the 3 dots next to it and then in the menu list I click on favorite. I just checked and doing it this way works, now I see it on my favorite list after :)
