    Hi Larry

Congrats on your new POWERNODE. The POWERNODE does not have a phone stage - if your turntable does not include a line out or you are using a vintage turntable, you will need an outboard phone preamp. We here at Bluesound are big fans of the NAD PP2e or the NAD PP4.

Thanks Tony. I would prefer keeping the preamp internal to the turntable like this:

This should work but would appreciate a confirmation plus need to know what cable I need to connect this to the POWERNODE?

    This turntable has phono stage.

That will work too - I can't see the back panel so I assume it is RCA out - so RCA to 3.5mm - keep it under 1M if you can since it is phono - no more than 2M (the exact opposite of social distancing guidelines). Also, check the Project documentation about grounding.

Thanks, Tony - I did read about the grounding issues and being an IT Pro by trade, I used to have a true ground that was literally stuck into the dirt out in my back yard.

    You've been very helpful.
