Waiting for my new Node 2i
BeantwortetI'm waiting in anticipation on my new device ordered yesterday.
Unfortunately I can see a lot of postings about connection problems and problems with the BluOS App (I use Apple iOS).
Now I'm very concerned.
Does a lot of users have problems with connection and regular dropouts?

Received an Envoy Pro SSD (500GB) from, OWC, last week. Transferred our music collection to it, and plugged it into the rear of the Node 2i. Huge difference in access time! This is an amazing combination of, Node 2i and attached storage.
Don't know if I could be more satisfied! On top of that, listening to music via bluetooth aptX HD from Node 2i to Sony WH 1000XM3 headphones is mighty fine!
Now all could hope for is longevity!

I'm using the Node 2i in an Mac/iOS environment. It's been a bit of a learning curve with the use of either the iOS, or OS X app. I find that there are times when using the OS X app that sometimes there are "hang ups" and I need to quit the app, and restart. It's not a big deal, it restarts quickly. It may be doing this because of the USB hard drive connected to the rear of the Node 2i. It's a slow, 5400rpm drive, and I've only been using it for a month or so. I have all of our purchased music (CD's and Downloads) stored on the hard drive. The Node 2i works well, but I think it "hangs" because the limit of 5400 rpm is slowing things down. I'll be replacing that drive with an SSD, shortly, in hopes that that will speed things up.
Don't fret, the Node 2i is cemented into my system now, and I wouldn't give it up for anything other than another Node 2i!
