Outlet - Powernode + Duo 2.1 System....What's the Catch?

I'm looking at the Outlet Site's Powernode + Duo 2.1 System for $499, and have to ask what is the downside of purchasing one of these setups?

I can't find much in terms of comparison between the Powernode and the later models.

Sometimes if something seems too good to be a good deal... it may not be a deal at all.

Can anyone offer insight as to what kind of value this package really is?

  With a first-generation Powernode, you will get much of the same functionality of other Bluesound players and will still be able to control your music wirelessly through the BluOS Controller app on your smartphone or tablet. However, every new generation of Bluesound does come with hardware improvements and new features. To help with your decision, I will provide a list of the features included with each generation below.

  Generation 1 to Generation 2:

  Built-in Bluetooth as a source support
  Additional inputs
  Headphone output
  Additional top panel controls
  Support for IR remotes
  Amplifier standby

  Generation 2 to Generation 2i:

  Two way Bluetooth functionality to connect to Bluetooth headphones or speaker
  Improved Bluetooth codec from aptX to aptX HD
  Support for the 5GHz wireless band
  Support for Apple's Airplay 2
