Having Trouble Adding A New Player
Ordered a new in a sealed box Node 2 from Amazon (not a Node 2I...the Node 2 was a cheaper but do not need all the newer software that the the 2i has) supplier was Bluesound. Anyway completed the process and when it gets to the Preparing page...(message says) BluOs is checking for updates for your player....the circle is going around the Bluesound Icon. Under the circle is another message that says "This may take several minutes depending on network speed". This is the Player that I have added to the system. Do not remember this "phase" taking this long.....tried it eailier and did not completed after about 45 minutes. Anyway my question is if the adding a player process gets to this point does it mean it did connect to the network? I restarted the process and do not really know how long I should wait before I assume it will not work and stop the process. Any help would be appreciated......

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble setting up your Node 2.From what you have described it sounds as though your Node 2 is unable to communicate with the BluOS upgrade server to ensure it is on the latest firmware. What I would suggest is to temporarily connect your Node 2 directly to your router with an Ethernet cable to see if this provides a more reliable connection for the setup process.
If Ethernet connecting the Node 2 does not help to resolve this issue, please contact our support crew directly at support@bluesound.com for further assistance.
