Crackling sound from bluesound Pulse 2i soundbar

Setup: Soundbar Pulse 2i, 4 x Plex 2i, 1 x Subwoofer, Synology NAS 518+, NAD C568

Connected: Wired

Group: Multiple

Scenario: When i listen to Flac files from my NAS I hear crackling pop sounds from my soundbar, not from the Plex2i speakers.

To fix this I got to disable “Wide Mode” within the listening mode “Music”, then the crackling sounds don’t appear from the soundbar. To compensate the missing of treble and depth I put treble and bass a little bit wider to get a better experience.

I changed my network cables from Cat5e to Cat7 and took a critical look at the configuration of my router and switches, everything is well organised.

I have read a lot of articles with experiences from other users and many times I read from Tony it’s a network issue. All respect but if this is true why does the crackling sounds also appear when playing a CD from the NAD C568 which is not connected true the network but only optical with the soundbar?

I wish to get a working situation to get the best bluesound experience, unfortunatly this issue and others takes away the feeling to listen and enjoy music on the bluesound.
