Sample rate Bluesound Node2i

Hi,

 

I have just bought a Bluesound Node2i. I am using Roon as music player, and have hooked up the Node 2i to a Chord Qutest DAC with an Audioquest Diamond Toslink cable. Try as I might I cant get 192khz files to play, just get no sound. Anything up to 96khz plays back fine. As far as I know both the Qutest and the Node 2i should play back 192khz files, and I thought Toslink cables could support anything up to 192khz. Any ideas how I can get 192khz files to play back in my current set up?

  Hi Kevin,

  I think you will need to use a coax cable rather than optical TOSLINK out of your Node 2i for your Chord DAC to process files greater than 96kHz
