    Hello Mark,

From my experience with WD drives, they only allow Guest sharing through the Public folder. Since the BluOS app uses the Guest user to connect to network shares, you will need to ensure your music library is stored in the Public folder of this drive.

With your music library in this folder, you can configure a network share to this folder in the BluOS app by finding the IP address of the WD drive on your router. The network path would be similar to "\\192.168.1.10\Public" using the IP address for the WD drive. No username or password will be required for sharing this folder.

If this does not help, please feel free to reach out to our support crew directly for further assistance at support@bluesound.com.

    Regards,

Hi Wesley. Thanks so much for your help. Yes, I had just done what you explained earlier this morning and it found it. I just had to log on to my WD online control panel and find my IP address and then I added the public folder (I had already stored my music files in the public folder). It then found the drive and indexed 15,000 songs very quickly. :-)

Thanks for your help. I’m looking forward to seeing the capability of the Node.
