NAD c658 must add the volume limiter function : (

Dear sir

i use NAD c658 as a preamp to my NAD m22v2 poweramp,

but really afraid turning the  volume too loud to hurt my ears.

Is there any method to limit the maximum volume?

  Hi Alan

  We currently do not have volume limits in the NAD C658 but do hope to introduce them in a near-future software update as we are seeing a great demand for it. I don't have a time frame I can share just yet. The NAD M22 is a beast of an amp so we do urge at your neighbour's request to yes, please go easy on the volume slider.

  Now there has just been an update where we have got tone control on the C658 (great) but still no volume limiter. these queries have been running for several years now, do you not have something new to give us? I have 2 C298 in mono, it is 620w in a thin volume line on my screen, it is simply too dangerous.

  Our good friends down the hall at support@nadelectronics.com would suggest adjusting the input gain level on your C298. They will be happy to assist here.
