Sound after power cycle

In the audio settings I have turned tone controls off, mqa external dac off, output level fixed on. Using these setting I get the max quality (using the digital output). Also when playing flac/wav containing ac3 or dts encoding the streams are not changed and the external decoder in a surround receiver can still decode them. This works correct as long as I leave the power on. When turned off (by removing the power complete, done by my home automation system) and then back on the streams are no longer send unchanged to the digital output. Turning on and then off the tone controls does fix it. But only as long as the power remains. The next time the device is booted the problem is back again. Playing ac3 or dts is then not possible because the data is changed and no longer recognised. But because the data is changed the quality is also less when playing other (non ac3 or dts) files or streams.
