New BlueOS Mac Controller 3.6 Issues

I had to revert to Mac BlueOS Controller version 3.4.9 after downloading the 3.6 "Update"
A few things I noticed:
The app is glacially slow, taking minutes to perform tasks that used to take seconds.
When playing a stored playlist, the lower view used to have an icon on the left side that I could click to get a larger view of the artwork along with track name and progress bar. That function is now missing. It was the only way I could (almost) have the same view as the long lost and treasured "Mini Player" from the old 2.0 releases. Also, I no longer see a shuffle icon in that bar either.
Anyone else noticing these things, or any other issues with this release.
Sure miss the old version 2...
