  Hi David

  The 2TB storage of the VAULT will hold approximately 5000-6000 CDs ripped bit for bit at their original16/44.1 full lossless audio. Not songs, complete CDs.

  That being said, you will want a 2TB (or higher) USB drive as backing up your data is always a good idea.
