    Hi Brian

Since the recent release of BluOS firmware 3.6.6, we have received multiple reports from users experiencing issues with restoring their players from VACATION MODE standby. We have tested this here in our labs and have been able to replicate the issue. Our Quality Assurance team is currently investigating this further and working to provide a fix in a future firmware update.

Just a reminder that Bluesound Players do not have an ON/OFF switch and are designed to be always on and always ready and meet EU standards as an IoT network appliance of less than 3W when idle after 15 minutes. Constantly placing a Player in Vacation Mode can artificially age your power supply as it is designed to be 'always on'.

For the time being, what I can suggest as a temporary workaround while we continue to work to resolve this is to disconnect the power from your player, wait 5 minutes and then reconnect it to bring your player out of Vacation Mode. It may take a few minutes to power up after that. When you have completed listening, simply leave the Player as is.

Look for a firmware update early next week to resolve this issue. If however, the problem persists, please directly e-mail us at support@bluesound.com

Thanks for the quick reply, but it solved nothing.

Both players was out of power for 10+ minutes. Been reconnected for 5 minutes and are still completely dark in all the possible lights.

I will send you an email.

Once again I turn to this support site for help. My two playse has been working on and off for the last 3 months BUT after latest update again they both died. This time in a different way.

Node2> have rejected to update because of I feared that it will turn to a paper weight again. Unfortunately another family member did the update and surprise surprise a dead player. I was able to do CPR on it from time to time and get it to work once in while but nothing consistant. A week ago totally dead not light no nothing. I am able to get light in when having it off the grid for 24 hours and pressing the service button when connecting it. But what to do?

Node> has been working quite well until yesterday where it requested an update, which i did. Now the player has a constant red LED shinning but it can't be found on the network. Factory reset does not work. Manuel update doesn't work - just a square with a red LED on.
