Grouping/Pairing Pulse Flex with Pulse Flex 2i

Hi, I've searched around but couldn't find a direct answer to my question. I'm thinking of purchasing a Pulse Flex 2i to group/pair with my original Pulse Flex. Can anyone advise whether:

1. There's any issues in doing this (ie; it will work)?

2. Any other thoughts/considerations as to why I should or shouldn't do this?
