Vault 2 file edit/move/delete not working
BeantwortetThe files on my Vault 2 no longer have read/write permissions, so can't be edited or deleted. An attempted deletion results in "The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items." My login and "Everyone" have Read & Write permissions on all the folders, but the files will not be edited, renamed or deleted. I note that the prescribed Bluesound login to the Vault is for "Guest". This is a recent phenomenon, in the last few weeks. All Bluesound controllers and apps are up to date. I am on MacOS 10.15.1.
I sent a support request last Sunday with no response to date. I think I see similar problems from other users. HELP!

Justin, my artwork problem was resolved by a Factory Reset followed by a Rebuild Index on the Help->Diagnostics menu. Permissions issue remains unresolved - for example, I can't add new files to a previously existing folder.

Happy Thanksgiving, folks. This is for when y'all get back ;)
Same issue here. Windows 10 PC, latest updates to BluOS. Can no longer delete/edit on my Vault 2. Was comparing/moving/deleting between two folders yesterday; literally has happened overnight. Also can't change owner of my shared Vault 2 folder, nor any permissions for any objects or groups.
Support ticket sent. Please help! Thanks

Frederic, you are in great hands. Sam from the Bluesound support crew did a fantastic job of handling this issue for me a few weeks back after a quick phone conversation. Good luck!

I have the same issue. Is there a solution?
After Ripped cd. Storage (music and mp3) appears 2-3 folder with the same name, and in the folder don't have album and song, But if look in the BluOS app there are still folders album and songs.
I try edited or deleted, but can't...
Thanks and regards0 -

Hi Bluesound folks!
I have the problem described by Peter Swanson at the top of this thread as well - there are files on my Vault 2 that I want to edit or delete, but when I try I get a message that I can't because I don't have the permissions.
Then when I check the permissions it appears I have read and write access, but I can't change anything!
Please help!
Thank you
Mark Hayden

Good afternoon,
I have the same problems as the earlier comments. The only folders I am able to edit are those created by Bluesound - Music, MP3, rips.
Regards,
Marco B.
