If you've upgraded to 3.6.6 just downgrade to the previous firmware (3.6.3) and it will work again. There is a problem with the latest firmware, see:

I have a similar problem with my pulse p300. It won't turn on either. Like there is no power. What can I do?

I seem to have this problem with my Pulse 2. Pulling out the power cord , turns the light red for a bit, then blue, and then it goes dark a few seconds after that. No power.
a factory reset does’nt help either.
could you please help me fix this? I can’t use the Pulse 2 at all at the moment.

Hi,
Is the problem solved?
I have Pulse 2, 4 years old, dead: unrepairable, had contact with support, I'm thinking about buying a Sonos.
Regards,
Steven

This is a known and recurring problem. I wish I'd never purchased anything from Bluesound it's the worst product and company!
I'm definitely buying a Sonos.

Hello,
I now have a dead Pulse mini that was stuck on step 1/4 of an update. Unplugged then plugged again, dead unit.
I went through many steps to solve the issue with Bluesound support crew. They couldn't resolve the issue and confirmed that the unit is dead.
Very frustrating as my unit is only 5 years old and I cross my fingers at each update for my two other Powernodes.
These soundsystems should last much longer than 5 years and it is abnormal that a S/W UPDATE killed it.
Bluesound offered me a 20% discount to buy a new one. Considering the cost increase after 5 years, the new price is the same as I paid 5 years ago... I'll have to go to consumer protection law.
Beware of poor Bluesound longevity.
